Froggy's surgery was a big success!!! The poor little guy had quite an ordeal. Both of his hind legs were largely re-constructed with bone plates and screws. Dr. Snakard did an AMAZING job. He had bones that were literally pointing the wrong direction that had to be fixed.
Froggy is going to need a lot of physical therapy to help him recover. Because his leg bones were not pointed in the right direction, his quadriceps and other muscles are very atrophied and short. His new mom will be working with the therapists at Dogs and Cats Veterinary Referral -- as well as with Dr. Snakard to make sure that he gains strength as quickly as possible!
